Monday July 1, 2024
This month’s bookshelf occupant has been owning and deserving its place for approximately 20 years!
The thing about classics in their genre is that that a re-read and further re-reads provides incremental insights without fail over time. Daniel Goleman is famous for embedding the concept of emotional intelligence (EI) into coaching and leadership literature, publishing the best seller Emotional Intelligence back in 1995-96.

This book The New Leaders first published in the UK in 2003, examines the transformative role of EI competencies in delivering business results and focuses on many of the processes and events which allow leaders however experienced, to grow. The book is written with Richard Boyatzis and Annie Mckee and is rich with resources and evidence base.
